Trails in Tiny Beaches

In Balm Beach there are many different OFATV trails that dirt bikers are not allowed on. I have seen OPP in lots of the trails and on several occasions. Over the last couple of years they have started cracking down on dirt bikes with no insurance and license plates. So I decided to go find some more trails, which were unmarked so I wouldn’t have any problems.

I have managed to locate some pretty long trails that are much more low key. The only difference is the trails obviously aren’t maintained properly so there a little rough. I have had lots of fun riding here because the trails are really windy with lots or burms. A few small open fields the rest are surprisingly long trails with many different paths. I have gotten lost in them several of times.

It is located at Simcoe County Road 27 and Concession Road 4 on the east side. You can either park on the side of the road or pull into the trails. I tend to park on the road and just take the dirt bikes of the truck there. Or it is about a five-minute drive into the trails before you can park at an open area.

Overall this place will keep you very busy for hours. The best thing about it is probably the fact that you can ride all day and not even hit the same trails twice. It is not the shortest drive thought it takes approximately two and a half hours from Toronto.

Trail Spot in Cashtown

This is a great place to dirt bike and hangout all day. It is located on Sideroad 6 off of Airport road. It is crown land and very safe to dirt bike on or do any other type of off roading. There are many smooth open trails and sketchy tight trails. There are a few little tracks, one is in a sandpit the other two are smaller and just on soil. You won’t really find any jumps anywhere than the tracks. There are a few really good spots to go mudding. One section of the trails is wet all year around. This is where you will find lots of people mud bogging or swimming in a mini pond considering people are always getting stuck, no matter what you have dirt bike, atv or even a truck.

Amazing scenery, I have seen deer, fox, turkeys and many different birds. Depending on what time of the dirt biking season you’re at the trails you may not see any animals due to the hunters. Which is another great thing about this dirt biking spot, you are allowed to shoot trap without any problems.

Overall this is my favorite place to relax and spend the day dirt biking. I usually bring a BBQ since there are some great spots to park and chill out.I hope you find yourself here one day enjoying the quality trails. They are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from Vaughan. It is well worth the drive for a little day mission to the trails.
